On a glorious sunny day on Saturday 2nd September, the club and our junior tournament sponsors, Janice Whitaker and Rachel Waddison (nee Palmer) hosted a very successful Colin Palmer Tournament.
This event takes place every year and is held in memory of Colin, now deceased, who played and supported the club for many years.
Singles matches were closely contested with ultimately the winning trophy going to Colin's granddaughter, Daisy Waddison.
In a nail-biting final, the runner up was Cameron Raven. Luke Bishop took third place and Chris Wayland fourth.
The award for the most enthusiastic and committed player went to Nathan Raven.
All players were awarded commemorative medals.
